The full name of Baili Temple is Bairi Lizhongxiang Temple, which means Qinggangshan Lizhong Xiangruizhou. Depend onVNgawang Lobsang GyatsoBuilt by his disciple Ang Weng Phuncuo, it is a monastery of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism and one of the Thirteen Temples of Hall. Facing south, the temple is located on the mountainside on the north bank of the Yalong River, next to the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Baili Temple is the seat of the Tibetan government established when the Red Army passed by during the Long March in 1936. In front of the second floor of the main hall, there is a memorial hall of the fifth living Buddha Geda, which has witnessed the history of Ganzi County.
