The Bailong Ladder connects the main scenic spots in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, including Jinbian Creek, Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain. From near Jinbianxi Grand Canyon to Yuanjiajie, it takes about 2 hours to climb the mountain on foot, and it only takes 2 minutes to take the ladder at "Water Around Four Gates".

The lower station of Bailong Ladder is located at the "Water Surrounding Four Gates" scenic spot near the "Golden Whip Creek Grand Canyon" (about 300 meters away), and the upper station is Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. The elevator has a vertical height difference of 335 meters and a running height of 326 meters. It is composed of a solid well inside the mountain and a derrick attached to the mountain. There are three elevators running side by side, each of which is made of fully transparent glass. When tourists take the elevator, they can enjoy a magnificent scene in Zhangjiajie through the glass: the gathering of magic soldiers. The Gathering of Divine Soldiers is located directly opposite the Bailong Ladder and consists of dozens of relatively independent stone peaks.
