Namo Grand Canyon is located in the area where Namogardi Temple is located in the north of Ruoergai County, 90 kilometers away from the county seat. The Namo Grand Canyon is close to Langmusi in Sichuan. Walking along the path to the upper reaches of the Bailong River, you can see it not far away. The entrance of the canyon is covered with colorful prayer flags. Looking up, there is an elegant feeling of sitting in a well and looking at the sky. The rocky path extends deep into the canyon, and there are abrupt rocks on both sides. There is a cave under the cliff on the right side of the valley entrance. The entrance of the cave is flat and low. In front of the entrance, believers often burn cypress incense. This is the legendary fairy cave. Coming out of the fairy cave, on the cliff at the entrance of the cave, there are stone holes where the gods tied the deer, the three claw marks left by the tiger jumping over the cave, the footprints of the lotus Buddha, the triangular box for disaster relief, and the stone-throwing hole for begging sons and daughters. Wait, the whole cliff is engraved with magical stories. On the opposite side of Fairy Cave is Panlong Cave. The cave is not big, and there is a white dragon clearly floating on the stone slab inside the cave. Going down from Panlong Cave and moving forward, a dam blocks the stream into a small lake. The clear water in the lake is like blue, and the breeze comes slowly, but the breeze does not stop. Walk slowly along the shore of the lake, it becomes narrower and narrower, and when you turn around the canyon, you can see the source of the creek. The source gushes out from several springs on both sides of the cliff. The local people call this spring "Naixi" (holy water), and it is the source of Bailong River. Standing on the rocky beach and looking up to the left, there is a cave overlooking the spring on the steep hillside. Across the source and then walk in, the cliffs hang over the rocks, the dangerous peaks stand upright, and go straight to the sky. There are various shapes of Shifeng, such as Feiying Cliff and Pigeon Cave. The scenery in the canyon is very good, and the difficulty is not high. It is suitable for short-term hikes for people of all ages and physical strength.
