The two towers face each other with a distance of about 100 meters. They are all brick towers with 13 stories on eight sides. The two towers rise straight from the ground, without a base, and the bottom layer is relatively high, usually without decorations. There is a gate in the south, which can enter the thick-walled hollow cylindrical tower.

The total height of the east tower is about 39 meters, and the tower body is in the shape of a cone. Each layer of towels is stacked with angular teeth and bricks to form the waist eaves, which are overhanging. An octagonal flat seat is built on the top of the tower, and in the middle of the flat seat is a net-shaped brake seat, which bears the "Thirteen Heavens" treasure brake. Above the second floor, each floor has two painted animal faces pasted on each side, juxtaposed on the left and right, with glaring eyes and exposed fangs, very powerful. The mouth of the animal face is painted with red beads. Between the animal faces is a pattern of painted clouds supporting the sun and the moon. The corner of the tower wall is decorated with colored plastic orb flames.

The total height of the west tower is about 36 meters, and the proportion of the tower body is coordinated, which is stronger than the east tower. The waist eaves above the second floor are composed of several layers of stacked angular teeth and stacked bricks, and a flat seat is built on the waist, and the outer eaves are decorated with circular animal head components. On the top of the tower, there is an octagonal brake seat, and under the eaves of the brake seat, there are painted lotus petals side by side. The corner is decorated with brick carvings of Lishen, who is naked and holds a lotus seat, which is as lifelike as a cow. The brake seat bears the "Thirteen Heavens" treasure brake. On the second floor, there are painted Buddha statues and decorative patterns under each waist eaves. Rectangular shallow Buddhist niches are placed in the center of the walls of each layer. Inside the niches are painted plastic animals and patterns of eight treasures. On both sides of the niches are painted animal faces. The animal's face was opened in anger, and its fangs were bared, it was mighty and terrifying.

On the upper right side of the shrine on the twelfth floor to the east of the West Pagoda, there are Xixia characters. On the first seat in the east of the tenth floor, there is a complete green glazed beast. There is a hexagonal wooden central brake pillar built in the Buddhist altar on the top of the tower, with a diameter of about 30 cm. On the brake pillar, there are inscriptions in Xixia script in ink and Sanskrit characters. The twin-pagoda building combines the traditional characteristics of the Buddhist pagodas in the Central Plains, and combines painting and sculpture art to form two majestic and colorful art treasures.

In 1986, the state organized forces to strengthen and repair the twin towers. During the repair of the west tower, a group of cultural relics were placed in a sealed hollow vault, including the silver coin "Dachao Tongbao" of the Mongolian Khanate and "Zhongtongbao" in the early Yuan Dynasty. Banknotes", silk "painted Buddha paintings" (Thangka), "silk paper flowers", wood carvings "Shangle Vajra Twins", "wooden vases" and bronze Buddha statues. The twin towers were listed as the second batch of key cultural relics protection units by the state in 1988.
