Baiwu Village has a long history, rich cultural heritage, and numerous historic sites. Most of the ancient buildings in Nagu Town are concentrated here, and there are more than 3,000 well-preserved ancient residential houses. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Baiwu Village was very prosperous. Officials, special envoys and businessmen from various provinces who came to escort and purchase copper were stationed here, and built more than ten guild halls, ancestral halls and temples, and more than 150 business houses. The village still maintains the old and simple, green mountains and ancient charm.
