Baiyun Temple is located on Baiyun Mountain, 5 kilometers south of Jiaxian County. Baiyun Mountain got its name because it is surrounded by white clouds all the year round. Baiyun Temple has been a Taoist resort for hundreds of years, and it is also the largest Ming Dynasty ancient building complex in the entire northwest region. There are row upon row of temples, large and small, magnificent and exquisite in small places.
From the Baiyun Temple, you can also see the Yellow River Grand Canyon not far away, and the vigorous loess scenery in northern Shaanxi.
