Out of Tacheng City, along the straight and wide port road westward for 12 kilometers, you will arrive at Baktu, the border port between China and Kazakhstan. This is a port very close to the city in Xinjiang. It is connected to the urban area of Tacheng in the east and 60 kilometers away from Makanchi Town in Kazakhstan in the west. The open and flat grass is dotted with flowers, the green hills are winding in the distance, and the cottages on both sides of the bank are faint and quiet.
Because it is close to the outskirts of the city, the buildings at Baktu Port appear to be few but neat. The modern joint inspection hall is spacious and bright, and the vehicles on the five cargo passages are lined up in a long line, and everything looks busy and orderly.
