Balqude Monastery is located on the mountainside of Duopa Village, Lang Town, Lang County, Nyingchi City, covering an area of ​​more than 2,000 square meters. It is on the bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River, with the Himalayas in the south. In 1195 AD, it was built by two living Buddhas, Suolangshengge and Suolangjiebu. It originally belonged to the Geju sect, but later changed to the Gelug sect due to religious struggles. In 1984, Luosang Dobuji, the living Buddha of the temple, raised funds to rebuild it. Most of the existing buildings are reconstructed buildings, mainly including Buddhist halls, scripture halls, kitchens, monks' housing, etc. There are more than 40 precious cultural relics displayed in the Buddha Hall.
