Bamei Xanadu Scenic Spot is located at the junction of Ake Township and Bada Township in the north of Guangnan County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It belongs to karst landform and is surrounded by emerald green mountains. "Bamei" is a transliteration of the Zhuang language, which means "the hole in the forest". Here you can feel the appearance of the paradise described by Tao Yuanming.
To get in and out of Bamei Village, you must go through the waterway, first by horse-drawn carriage and then by boat. The boatman uses bamboo poles to row through the deep and dark water holes. When approaching the entrance of the village, a bright light came into my eyes, and then I could see small bridges, flowing water, waterwheels, green hills, flowers and houses, and I couldn't help but feel that this is what Xanadu is! Here you can experience the slow life of the countryside and feel the most natural pastoral scenery.
