Baojing Dong Village is located 39 kilometers south of the county seat, with nearly 400 households and 2,000 Dong compatriots living in it. It has a history of more than 300 years. It is one of the large northern Dong villages in China.

This is a stockade that retains more traditional culture of the Dong people. The entire stockade faces south and is surrounded by green hills. From north to south, from high to low, the shape is like a pinch of dustpan. The wooden houses of the same color follow the terrain, row upon row, densely and alternately, and are very directly under the Central Government in the narrow valley between the two volumes. The masses are used to dividing Baojing into upper, middle and lower villages. The upper village has a water tower, and the middle and lower villages have two-eyed waterweeds and ponds, which are more convenient for domestic water. There is a ginkgo tree in Zhongzhai, and there is a stone tablet beside the road sill at the foot of the tree. The inscription on the stele is inscribed, and the four characters "immortal through the ages" are engraved horizontally on the forehead of the stele. On the right side of the stele, there is a vertical inscription "The big and small raises, the rich and the expensive, Cheng Simei keeps an ancient tree, and this generation will be immortal." On the left side of the stele is a vertical book "June Day in the fourth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty". On the east side between Shangzhai and Zhongzhai, there is a raised hill with strangely shaped stones, shaped like a bonsai. On sunny days during the slack season, girls come here in groups to embroider, sing and have trysts. The east, north and west sides of the village are shaded by ancient maple trees and green cypresses, and the south is Baiyan village. Between Baiyan and Baojing, there is a mountain full of pine trees. The masses say that the "flame bag" is full of pine trees, which are evergreen all the year round. It has become a beautiful scenic spot in Baojing Dong Village.

Every year on the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar, the Sowing Festival is a relatively lively festival in Baojing. From the second day of the second day, girls go to the fields to catch shrimps and give them to their sweethearts. The shallot baskets stand in a row, waiting for the boys to come and go, which actually means to confirm the relationship.
