Located in the old Baluntai Valley of Baluntai Town, Hejing County, at an altitude of 1450 meters, it is a magnificent lamasery. Known as the "Little Potala Palace", the religious name is "Sharbudar Jelen", which means "Holy Land of the Yellow Sect".

It was first built in the Qianlong period and completed in the 14th year of Guangxu. The skilled craftsmen who built the temple were invited from Inner Mongolia and Tibet, and spent a total of 500 taels of gold. For more than a hundred years since it was built, it has been a holy place of pilgrimage for Turghut and Heshuote Lamas, and it is also one of the four major temples of Xinjiang Lamaism. The Huangmiao complex consists of 27 temples, stretching 2.5 kilometers from east to west.

The Yellow Temple is the main building, with a rigorous and dignified structure, and together with 14 temples including Quejinkure, it forms an imposing ancient Lama Temple complex, covering an area of 24,000 square meters. The existing Huangmiao and Quejinkure Re, Gaiganlawulong and other halls are still intact, and were listed as key cultural relics protection units in 1987. There are many precious scriptures and rare cultural relics in the hall of the Yellow Temple. In the center of the main hall is a golden statue of Medel Buddha. Maitreya Buddha, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and many other bronze Buddha statues are enshrined in the east and west back halls. The four walls of the main hall are engraved with statues of the God of Expansion, which are lifelike, vivid and exquisite. There are also thirteen religious murals painted in the temple. Although they have been eroded, their original works can still be seen faintly. There is an endless stream of believers who come to Yujing pilgrimage every day, and the incense is very prosperous, and it is even more lively on religious festivals. Barentai Valley is not only a religious holy place, but also a natural forest park. In the green valley more than 20 kilometers from east to west, there are lush willow trees, strange peaks and rocks towering into the sky, and mountain springs and seas of clouds are vast and misty. The average temperature in midsummer is about 20 degrees, warm in winter and cool in summer. The simple and kind folk customs of the Torghut Mongolian people will fascinate you even more.
