The entire petroglyph is carved on a huge rock. Some of the petroglyphs contain single graphic letters and other combined patterns. Unlike petroglyphs elsewhere, Buddhist ideas are also reflected in the paintings. Most of the combined patterns mainly reflect human activities, such as hunting, riding, running and so on. These petroglyphs not only reflect the early primitive life of human beings, but also reflect the early human understanding of nature. It is the only group of early rock paintings discovered in Qamdo area so far.
