Bei'an Museum is the first comprehensive museum in Bei'an City built on the site of the former Heilongjiang Daily Press, with a construction area of 1,900 square meters. It is now a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit in Heilongjiang.
The Bei'an Museum takes the local history of Bei'an as the basic display, supplemented by five special exhibitions including Bei'an Natural Resources Exhibition, Heilongjiang Daily Press History Exhibition, Bei'an Humanities Exhibition, Qinghua Firearms Exhibition Hall, and Chen Yufei Ice and Snow Painting Art Museum. The museum collects more than 800 pieces of cultural relics, historical documents and materials unearthed in Bei'an area over the years, and nearly 2,000 natural specimens. Bei'an's cultural history and local customs; it is an important patriotic education base in Bei'an City to promote the achievements of the army and civilians in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the establishment of the people's regime.
