The northern platform of Mount Wutai is called Yedou Peak, which wins with thrills. It is located 5 kilometers north of Taihuai Town, with an altitude of 3058 meters and an area of more than 400 mu. It is the highest peak in Mount Wutai and the highest peak in North China. Known as the "Roof of North China" in the world, it looks like a saddle-shaped mountain. Buddhism compares it to a bird with two heads.
The climate on the top of the platform is extremely cold. Usually there is snow in September and it thaws in April.
