The Beitou Library is located in the densely forested Beitou Park. The building is mainly made of wood and blends in with the surrounding park woods. It is like a large tree house located deep in the forest, which is very romantic.

The library is divided into three floors. The first floor is the reading hall, which is equipped with a comprehensive service desk, periodicals and newspapers area, reference material area, computer inquiry area, etc. The second floor is the library area. Books in both Chinese and foreign languages are neatly displayed on wooden low cabinet bookshelves. There are thoughtful reading chairs between the bookshelves. Next to them are desks with lamps and sockets.

The library uses floor-to-ceiling windows for excellent lighting. If the weather is sunny, go to the outdoor reading area on the balcony of each floor, and enjoy the company of singing birds and fragrant flowers, and get closer to nature. The first basement floor is the children's reading room, where parents and children can spend a pleasant weekend afternoon.

The outside of the library is very suitable for tourists to take pictures. In the movie "Left to Right", the scene where the hero and heroine meet for the first time was shot at the fountain in front of the library. To take pictures in the museum, you need to apply in advance, and you need to provide personal documents and photos. The procedures are not troublesome, but after the application is successful, no people or selfies can appear in the photos taken.
