Bianque Temple, also known as Queshan Temple and Quewang Temple, is located about 20 kilometers west of Neiqiu County, about 50 kilometers away from Xingtai City by car. The temple was first built in the Han Dynasty. It is the temple with the longest history and the largest scale in memory of the divine doctor Bian Que. In the Spring and Autumn Period, Bian Que once cured Zhao Jian, a Jin doctor, for his son's illness. The doctor gave Bian Que this piece of land as a token of gratitude. So this is the place where Bian Que really lived, and it is his second hometown. The Bian Que Temple is very large. In addition to commemorating Bian Que, it is also a local Taoist temple. Every year, people come here to worship and pray for blessings. The north-south depth of the temple is about 300 meters, and the width is about 120 meters. It takes about 2-3 hours to visit it. Opposite the gate of Bian Que Temple, there are nine giant ancient cypresses, also known as Nine Dragon Cypresses. The towering ancient trees show the long history here. There is a Huisheng Bridge under the ancient cypress, which also commemorates the legendary medical skill of Bian Que who can bring the dead back to life. At present, many tourists walk the Huisheng Bridge to pray for their own health and longevity. After walking through the Huisheng Bridge, they enter the temple. There are many buildings in the temple, such as Shanmen, Huisheng Bridge, Bianque Temple, Bridge Tower Hall, Sanqing Hall, Xiandian Hall, Sleeping Palace, Yanwang Temple, Theater Tower, Taoist Academy, Baoxia Hall, Houmai Temple, Sleeping Temple, Old Mother Temple, etc. Temple, Jade Emperor Hall, Spinning Flower Cave, Laojun Cave, Ghost King Temple, Patriarch Temple, Niu King Temple, Fire God Temple, Baizi Hall and other 28 temples. Among them, the Bianque Temple is the main building, which enshrines the statues of the genius doctor Bianque and his 10 disciples. In the other halls, there are many Taoist statues such as Sanqing, Jade Emperor, and Taishang Laojun, which can be visited one by one. In the courtyard, there is also a tomb of Bian Que. It is said that after Bian Que was killed by the Qin imperial physician, the local people traveled thousands of miles to Shanxi to steal Bian Que's tomb for burial, so the name of the village here is "Shentou".
