Biluo Snow Mountain is the remnant of the West Malaya Mountains and belongs to the Hengduan Mountains. It is the border between Gongshan County and Deqin County of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and the watershed between the Nu River and the Lancang River. The climate in the mountains changes abnormally, the waterfalls are densely covered, and the high mountains and lakes are gathered. It is called the mountain of thousands of waterfalls and thousands of lakes. Whenever the clouds and mists rise in the mountains, it is quite spectacular to climb to the top and watch the sun rise or set. In the east, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Haba Snow Mountain, Jinsichang Snow Mountain, Laojun Mountain and Sepang Mountain are like a sea of waves in the sea of clouds. The snow on Biluo Snow Mountain never melts from the beginning of summer to the end of autumn. Even in midsummer, when the sky is cloudy, there will be rain, hail, and heavy snow. Therefore, there are abundant water sources. There are 24 rivers with a flow rate of more than 0.5 cubic meters per second, which flow into the Lancang River eastward.
