Blue Moon Valley is located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang. It was formed by the Baishui River melted from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Blue Moon Valley has four lakes of different colors, namely "Yuye" Lake, "Jingtan" Lake, "Blue Moon" Lake and "Tingtao" Lake.
