The performance is based on the story in the book "Border Town" by the literary master Mr. Shen Congwen, and the character "Cui Cui" is the main line. It is a large-scale folk melodrama rich in the humanities of Western Hunan. The theater is built among the hills in Phoenix City, and it is very dazzling under the illumination of the lights; the stage is stepped, with two huge ancient trees as the background, and the light and shadow with a strong sense of visual collision flow down like flowing water. The star-studded stilted buildings are like ink paintings, like dreams descending; a huge gauze curtain hangs high above the stage, and the water column jumps up and down with the music, forming a very high water curtain. Hundreds of costumes are beautiful in the performance. It took more than 100 processes, a production team of 110 people, and more than 10 months to produce the Cuicui wedding dress. Miao clothes, hundreds of red silver ornaments, and a 3-meter-long red wedding dress appear in Cuicui's dream at the end of the play, adorning her as a "beautiful bride".
The seating area of the theater is roughly divided into front and rear areas, with area A in the middle and area B on both sides; there is an interval between the front and rear areas, and the middle of the interval is the VIP area. If the seats in Area B are close to Area A, they will have a good view; there are fewer seats in the VIP area, so you need to book in advance as much as possible.
