This is the symbol of Dunhuang City. It is located in the middle of the Zhengyuan Huatan Ring Island in the urban area, where Shazhou South and North Roads and Yangguan Avenue meet. The statue is about 5 meters high, with a graceful posture, a dancing girl with kind eyebrows and kind eyes, raising her left leg, placing the pipa behind her with her back facing forward, and bouncing with her palm facing upwards.
The statue is made according to one of the murals in Dunhuang. The mural, together with Flying Apsaras, is known as the two masterpieces of Dunhuang music and dance murals. It is world-renowned and is a graceful dance in Dunhuang art.
