The Buddha's Palm Sand Dunes are located on the north bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River in Tanniang Township, Milin County. It is a sand dune in the shape of a Buddha's palm standing beside the river. It is very peculiar and suitable for taking pictures on the opposite bank. Moreover, it is free to watch the dunes. The viewing platform is right on the side of the road, and there are public toilets, so most tourists will get out of the car to take a look when they pass by.
