The Buddha Exhibition Platform is located in the northeast of Tashilhunpo Monastery. It was built by the first Gendun Zhuba to commemorate the birth, Buddhahood and Nirvana of Sakyamuni, and was later built on a large scale by the fourth Panchen Lama, Lausang Chogyi. Built in 1468. Every year, three days before and after May 15th in the Tibetan calendar, a grand Buddha exhibition event is held in Tashilhunpo Monastery. Large embroidered Buddha statues hang on the sunny wall of this 32-meter-high, 42.5-meter-wide bottom, 38-meter-wide, and 3.5-meter-thick Buddha exhibition platform.
