Camel Neck Bay is the first scenic spot when you enter the Kanas River Valley. It is called "Botuo Muyi" in Kazakh, which means camel neck. The Kanas River forms a big zigzag bend like a hunchback here, turning from southeast to southwest and then east again. The river bends sharply and the valley is deep, the current is fast, and the torrential river flows straight down with a majestic momentum. At the beginning of the first turn, there is a shuttle-shaped river island, and at the second turn, a rapids are formed.

Camel Neck Bay is surrounded by dense forests. The main tree species are Siberian larch, Siberian spruce, European aspen, warty birch, and shrubs such as thorny rose and thorny rose in the undergrowth. The east bank of the river is a meadow, and the west bank of the river is a virgin forest.
