Chengde Theater

Chengde Theater is located in the center of Chengde. It was built in 1953, with a construction area of ​​2868 square meters and 1200 seats. For more than 40 years, large-scale renovations have been carried out inside and outside the theater many times. Now the facilities in the theater are basically complete and can meet the needs of the development of the times.

 

The theater has received performances by the National Ballet of China, the National Song and Dance Troupe of China, the Beijing People's Art Theater and the Kyrgyz National Dance Troupe, and has been well received by the performing groups. Chengde Theater has become an important place for tourism opening and high-grade art performances in Chengde City, and is now especially famous for Errenzhuan performances.
