The Chenggu Bell Tower was built in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, then burned down and rebuilt in the Guangxu period. It was completely renovated again in 2007. This tower building has four floors, is about 15 meters high, and is of brick and wood structure. Its basic structure is a three-story pavilion with three-story cornices, and the top floor of the fourth floor has a full roof and full eaves.
The roof of the building is compact and contracted, small and unique, but it breaks through the shackles, and the hexagons are tilted up, showing an extraordinarily beautiful and majestic appearance.

The eaves of the bell tower are in the shape of an arc, extending outwards as much as possible to keep out the wind and rain; the spine is molded with smart birds and animals, and the lower abdomen is piled up with rivets and tenons, densely covered with various patterns. Wind chimes are hung under the eaves, and the wind blows The bell rang, and the sound was crisp. The local people have this saying: There is a Tiantai Mountain in Hanzhong, and you can touch the sky with a chair; It shows how tall and straight the bell tower is in the hearts of Chenggu people, and it is irreplaceable. This architectural style combines the characteristics of southern Shaanxi dwellings and southern temples, which is impressive.
