Chengyang Bazhai is composed of eight natural villages in Chengyang, surrounded by green mountains and green trees, with beautiful scenery. Chengyang Eight Villages refer to Ma'an (An) Village, Ping Village, Yan Village, Dong Village, Da Village, Ping Village, Pingpu Village and Jichang Village. Pingtan village and Jichang village are far away, and there are fewer tourists. It takes about 2-3 hours to walk around the trip. The villages we pass along the way are very simple and unsophisticated, among which the wooden drum towers and ancient bridges are very exquisite, especially the iconic Chengyang Fengyu Bridge, which is a very precious historical building, so you can focus on visiting it.

After arriving in Dazhai, a small number of tourists will choose to continue to Pingtan Village and Jichang Village. The two villages are relatively quiet, and there are also ancient drum towers, folk houses, stages, etc., but the location is a bit more remote.
If you want to overlook the beautiful scenery of Bazhai in Chengyang, there is a stepping path on the bridgehead road of Chengyang Fengyu Bridge. You can climb up along it and you will see a viewing pavilion in about ten minutes. Standing in front of the pavilion and looking down, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery .

Most of the accommodation is local folk houses. The wooden houses are very distinctive, and most of them have semi-open-air balconies, terraces, etc., and the environment is elegant.
