Qingping Cave is located at the west foot of Guishan Mountain outside Yaoguan Ancient Town, Shidian County, 20 kilometers away from Shidian City. There are not many buildings, but the scenery is beautiful and the collection of cultural relics is an important historical relic.

In ancient times, Yaoguan was an important military town. On the hillside behind the present town, there are also earthen city walls with a length of several hundred meters and varying heights. In Xiawuyi Village on the east side of the town, there is a little general platform. The area around the supply and marketing cooperatives in Yaoguan Town is the site of the original Nancheng Gate, and the local people still use this as the boundary, calling it the inner city and the outer city.
About 100 meters away from the south of the village, there is a stone bridge on the small river at the foot of Guishan Mountain, named "Xijia Bridge". Soldiers stationed here used to wash their armor and shirts here. Cross the bridge and walk about half a mile to Qingping Cave. I saw along the slope to the river, a wall lined up, an arch in the middle, and a couplet next to it: "This place in the middle of the mountain and half of the lake is a scenic spot. One cave and one enjoy where to find Taoyuan." The banner reads "Water Moon Cave Sky". On the left slope of the eight gates is the stele pavilion of "The Story of the Shrine of Loyalty". The pavilion was built to protect the monument. Some of the writing on the inscription is not very clear. The stele is 2.05 meters high and 0.9 meters wide. It is written in regular script and has 33 lines in total. The main text is 28 lines, and the full text is about 2,400 words. It records the achievements of the Ming general Deng Zilong in quelling civil strife, defeating foreign invaders, and maintaining the integrity of the country's territory.
