Chihkan Tower is also called "Hongmao Tower". After more than 300 years of changes, it can be said to be a witness to the historical changes in Tainan. Behind the detour from Wenchang Pavilion is the remnant of the Pucheng Bastion, which is also a relic of historical value in Chihkan Tower.

Around the Chihkan Tower, there are also first-class historical sites such as the Temple of Martial Arts and the Datianhou Palace. Together, they are like an ancient city museum, so you might as well visit them together. The business district near Chihkan Tower is very prosperous, and the food is not inferior. You can go to Yifeng to drink winter melon tea, or go to Du Xiaoyue to eat a bowl of Danzai noodles, Tainan's special braised pork rice, ulong noodles, and shrimp rice.
