Chijin Gorge is located in Chijin Town, Yumen City, Jiuquan. It is a scenic spot built by the Chijin Gorge Reservoir. The reservoir has a large area, about 4 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide. There are rivers and forests around it. You can enjoy the rare lakes and rivers in the northwest and the beautiful scenery shaded by trees. You can also experience the passionate rafting of Chijin Gorge on the river. Chijinxia was also the site of the old Yumen Pass before the Han Dynasty, so the scenic spot also built city towers, dripping Guanyin and other cultural landscapes here for viewing. Chijin Gorge Scenic Area is about 2 kilometers long. First enter from the gate of the scenic spot and walk to enjoy the humanistic buildings on the road, reed marshes, rose garden and other natural scenery, then board the reservoir dam to enjoy the scenery of the great lake, and then experience the rafting of the passionate Chijin Gorge. It takes about half a day to visit the whole scenic spot. The scenic spot is located on the north side of the reservoir. When you drive to the vicinity of the scenic spot, you can see that the surrounding scenery changes suddenly, from the desolation of the Gobi in the northwest to the tree-lined and beautiful scenery of the oasis by the river. Entering the scenic spot from the gate on the north side, first of all, you can see several colorful sculpture dragons on the opposite mountain, which is also the iconic sculpture of Chijinxia scenic spot. Walking into the scenic spot, there are cultural buildings such as Yumen Pass, Xuantong Pagoda, and Zhaogong Temple built by the river, but they are basically newly built buildings, and there are no historical sites. Next to it is a children's paradise, where water world, bumper cars and other entertainment items can be played here. On the mountain opposite the river bank, you can experience the high-altitude zip line in the scenic spot, which is thrilling and exciting. The suspension bridge on the river is tens of meters long. Shaking is also a special experience. Going straight along a slope, you can see the reeds, red willow forests and sandy date trees on the side of the road. When walking on the ramp, you can see a huge statue of Dripping Avalokitesvara on the opposite side of the river bank. The colorful statues are lifelike, magnificent and beautiful. When the ramp came to the end, you came to the steps of the reservoir, and walked up to the dam of the reservoir along dozens of steps. The several kilometers long lake of the reservoir came into view. The scenery was open and spectacular, and the breeze was cool and refreshing. You can also take a speedboat tour of the lake here, about 20-30 yuan per person, and about 70 yuan per person on a motorboat, to experience the passion and comfort on the lake. After visiting the scenery in the scenic area, you can walk down the dam to the rafting place next to the dam, where you can experience the legendary "Northwest First Drift" passionate rafting. The length of Chijin Gorge rafting is 6 kilometers, and it takes about 1.5 hours , Surrounded by oasis scenery by the river, fresh and beautiful. The river is not deep and very safe, so everyone will play more recklessly. People often jump off the boat and stand in the river to splash water, and the scenic spot will also arrange special personnel to splash water on the side of the river to increase the passion for rafting. At the end of the rafting, there is a free scenic shuttle bus to take tourists back to the gate of the scenic spot, and they can continue to visit or leave the scenic spot.
