The China-Nepal Friendship Bridge is located on the China-Nepal border river near the Zhangmu Port in Nyalam County, at an altitude of 1,800 meters. It is a reinforced concrete bridge that traverses east and west, connecting the China-Nepal Highway from Yangbajing to Kathmandu.
The bridge is about 8 meters wide and 45 meters long. There are low railings on both sides of the bridge, which is more solemn and generous under the shade of the Pentium River and dense forests. On the China side of the bridge, there is a Friendship Room and an octagonal Friendship Pavilion for the past border residents and tourists to stay and rest. In the center of the grass dam next to the pavilion, there is a stone sculpture of a boy riding a white elephant. The white elephant draws spring water to spray the boy on its back. The shape is realistic and cute.
It should be noted that since the Friendship Bridge is located on the border between the two countries, there are soldiers on duty on the bridge and it is strictly forbidden to take pictures.
