Chonggu Temple is located at the foot of Xiannairi Mountain, with an altitude of about 3880 meters. The original temple was seriously damaged, and there were ruins in sight. Chonggu Temple is affiliated to Gongga Langjiling Temple, where Zaba recites scriptures and Buddha, and there is a statue of Buddha Sakyamuni enshrined in the scripture hall.
In the Aden Scenic Area, Chonggu Temple has a better location. In the Chonggu Temple, opposite are the three holy mountains that have not changed for thousands of years, at the foot of the meadow full of wild flowers, behind is the steep and majestic Yading Canyon. Chonggu Temple is like the gate of heaven, guarding the sacred Kingdom of Shambhala. In 1928, Joseph Locke lived in Chonggu Temple for three days when he came here for inspection.
