Lenghu Town is located in Mangya City, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is named after Hutong Nuoer Lake (Mongolian: extremely cold lake) in the territory. It is one of the important mining areas in China. The natural conditions are harsh, cold and windy all year round, with little rain and drought, and a large number of Yadan landforms are developed.
