The status of Mars Camp is an earlier Mars research travel practice education camp in China. On September 10, 2020, it was rated as a Mars research travel practice education and scientific popularization base by the Qinghai Provincial Science and Technology Department. Covering an area of about 80 acres, it can accommodate 72 Mars explorers to experience Mars survival at the same time. Combined with the Martian landform features of Erbo Liang Yadan in Cold Lake, the Mars camp is presented as a fully enclosed Mars space capsule, providing tourists with a complete "Mars landing" experience.
