Crescent Moon Spring is nearly 100 meters long from north to south, and 25 meters wide from east to west. The spring water is deep in the east and shallow in the west, with a depth of about 5 meters. It is one of the "Eight Views of Dunhuang", with different scenery in four seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter, cloudy, sunny, rainy and snowy. The wild horses are flying in the wind and sand on all sides, and the shadow of the pool is phantom swimming with dragons. But due to the movement of Mingsha Mountain and the drop of water level, Crescent Lake is gradually shrinking.
