This is the place where people in the world hope to see wild crested ibises. Crested ibises are precious and beautiful. They are national first-class protected birds and endangered birds in the world. The Crested Ibis Nature Reserve has a Crested Ibis Rescue and Breeding Center, a Crested Ibis Mission Center, and a Crested Ibis Freeing Shed. The crested ibis has been sung by poets of all ages for its unique feather color, elegant figure, and light dancing posture when it rises and falls. There have long been beautiful poems that "the jade water is made by the wind, and the sun is reflected on the golden embankment", and "the crested ibis plays with new algae, wandering around the stream". There were records in 14 provinces in my country, but they were not found anywhere in the 1960s and 1970s; it was not rediscovered until the summer of 1981 in Yang County, Shaanxi, and only 7 remained at that time. This discovery has attracted great attention from the Chinese government and relevant organizations. Through unremitting efforts, the total number of crested ibises has increased to 500, including more than 280 in wild populations and 235 in artificial populations.
