Cuifeng Mountain Natural Scenic Area is located on the outskirts of Yangquan City. There is a large area of primitive secondary forest in the scenic area, and there are ravines and strange rocks everywhere. Clear spring water flows in the mountains, which is a natural oxygen bar. There is a minibus in front of Yangquan Railway Station to reach the scenic spot. The whole journey takes about 1 hour. From November to the end of March of the next year, the scenic spot is closed for fire prevention. During this period, the scenic spot is not open to the public. There are three tour lines in the Cuifeng Mountain Scenic Area: Green Field Fairy Valley, Fozhi Pavilion and Maple Leaf Pavilion. Green Field Fairy Valley is mainly a natural experience tourism, with a total length of about 5 kilometers, a mountain road paved with stone, wood and pine needles, and lush forests on both sides of the road. There are also six "observation platforms" on the mountain to watch the sunrise, sunset, peach blossom, summer green, red leaves, and snow scenes, as well as the "Shouting Cliff" that can adjust your mood. You can also see the naturally formed scenic spots such as "Caimen", "Yunmen", "Fumen", "Turtle Tree", "Love to Whitehead". All kinds of trees in the scenic area are hung with tree species introduction cards. The herbarium in the scenic area exhibits more than 1,000 specimens of marine and terrestrial animals and plants. It is a natural science education place in Shanxi Province. You can also have close contact with animals in the python and giant tortoise pavilion in the scenic spot, where the golden python and giant tortoise are exhibited. In the water park of Cuifeng Mountain, there are water fitness balls, cruise ships, fishing and other entertainment items for tourists to choose from. There are also "mountain bar wooden houses" and resorts in the scenic area to provide accommodation for tourists. Tourists can also buy farm specialties and eat farm dishes here. In September and October every year, the maple leaves in the mountains turn red one after another, which is a beautiful season in the mountains.
