It is located 90 kilometers southwest of the county seat, at the foot of Cuowagashize Mountain on the west side of Ering Lake in Zhalinghu Township, and there is a sidewalk along the west bank of the lake to the temple. In the summer of 1956, Mani Lama went to Lhasa to worship and passed by here. Sang Hong (died in 1986, member of the Yuanzhou CPPCC) was handed over to the well-known local believer Sang Hong for safekeeping. In the winter of the same year, Mani Lama passed away in Muge, Zaduo County, Yushu. Sang Hong transported his bones back and built "Duoka" here. Doka was destroyed in 1958, and the remains were hidden by the masses. In 1984, the site was approved to be opened as a religious activity site. In recent years, a large and a small scripture hall with 7 rooms each, 1 scripture turning room with 10 rooms, 2 monk houses with 14 rooms, and 2 stone pagodas have been built on the original Doka site, forming a monastery scale. There are currently 42 monks, 2 of whom are permanent residents. The owner of the temple is Ma Bao, the son of Sang Hong, who is 41 years old. Some monks in the temple believe in the Gelug Sect and some believe in the Qin Nyingma Sect, but Nyingma Sect is the main one. In the temple, there are two silver-inlaid coral copper pagodas, 2 feet square, 3.5 feet high, and worth more than 40,000 yuan. On the side of the temple, there are 13 new herdsmen's settlement houses with 38 rooms. Most of the people who believe in this temple are the people of the original Huoke tribe in Zhaling Lake, and some people from Qumalai in Yushu.

Gasshize Mountain is one of the thirteen "Holy Mountains" in the Maduo area, with an altitude of 4610 meters. In 1983, the Qinghai Provincial People's Government decided to open it as a tourist spot. Many foreign guests and compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao visit this place every year. There is also a sidewalk to reach the top of the mountain by car. On the top of the mountain, there is a bronze stele of Heyuan Niutou completed in October 1988, with a height of 3 meters.
