There are four scenic spots in Dagu Scenic Area, namely: Dagu Stream Attraction, Baigou Attraction, Street Need Attraction, and Gaduixue Chasing Attraction. Among them, street attractions are under construction.
Dagu Scenic Area is located at the junction of Sangri County and Jiacha County, with an average altitude of 3,200 meters. It is the only place to pass through the Eastern Ring Road of Tibet Tourism. Here, the mountains on both sides of the Yarlung Zangbo River are steep and steep, the river is narrow, the water is turbulent, and it roars. It can be called the first canyon of the Yarlung Zangbo River.
In the valley on the north side of the canyon, the climate is humid, the vegetation is dense, and the mountain stream is clear. There are brown bears, Tibetan macaques, snow chickens, snow leopards and other protected animals. It is also rich in a wide variety of rare medicinal materials such as Cordyceps, Fritillaria, Saussurea, Rhodiola, etc. It is novel that there are also flowers with high ornamental value such as red peonies, various types of rhododendrons, gentian, nodding chrysanthemums, and primroses.
The folk customs of Dagu are a unique and beautiful landscape. Dagu Village is located at the big bend of the Yarlung Zangbo River. Dagu is rich in Dagu Stone Pot and Dagu Stone Pot Fish, a special food. There are naturally formed strange stone landscapes such as the alms bowl of Padmasambhava and the Thousand Buddha Cliff.
