The Dai Show Theater was designed by Mr. Mark Fisher himself, and this modern technological theater was tailored for Xishuangbanna.
The double-layer folding dome design is based on the golden bamboo hat in the traditional Dai culture. The design of the folding sloping roof is inspired by the artistic expression of the geometric shape of palm leaves, and at the same time echoes the folding sloping roof style of the local Dai architecture. The roof structure of the hall is integrated with tubular elements, which is a modern interpretation of the traditional Dai bamboo building materials, and a perfect fusion of art and culture. It cost more than 2 billion yuan and covers an area of 3.64 hectares.
The overall design of the building follows the principle of "people-oriented", advocates the concept of green building, ecological building and energy-saving building, highlights intelligence, humanity, individuality, freedom and efficiency, pursues the optimization of economic design, and enhances the market competitiveness and artistic appeal of the building. This also makes Daixiu Theater a landmark building in Xishuangbanna.
