The Dai Village is located in the Xishuangbanna Dai Nationality Garden Scenic Area, 28 kilometers away from Jinghong City, the state capital. Including five Dai villages in the scenic area: Manjiang, Manchunman, Manting, Mancha and Manga, which are under the jurisdiction of Manting Office of Menghan Town. In a typical Dai village, the houses are built as "dry fence" bamboo buildings, and the bamboo fences between households are fences, forming their own courtyards.
