Dajiuhu National Wetland Park is located in the northwest of Shennongjia forest area, at the junction of Sichuan, Chongqing and Hubei. It has typical alpine meadow characteristics and is known as "Hulunbuir of Hubei".
Dajiu Lake, also known as Jiuhuping, is surrounded by high mountains, forming a natural barrier. There are nine large mountain beams in the east and west of the scenic spot, and the forests on the beams are densely covered with majestic momentum. The nine streams between the mountain ridges are like nine jade belts dancing down from the clouds. There also happen to be nine gleaming lakes on this alpine plain.
Dajiu Lake is known as "Alpine Basin" and "Natural Grassland", with beautiful natural scenery and pleasant climate, it is called "Xanadu". In the wetland, there are rich alpine meadows and wetland ferns, as well as rare animals such as storks, cranes, and sika deer, which are of high scientific research value.
