Starting from Kuqa, go north along the Duku Highway for 120 kilometers into the hinterland of Tianshan Mountain. Before crossing Tielimaiti Daban, there are two alpine lakes, one large and one small, on both sides of the road, which are the big and small Longchi. The water surface area of Dalongchi is about 2 square kilometers, surrounded by mountains on all sides, the mountains are covered with snow, which does not melt all the year round, and above the snow line grows the precious Chinese medicinal material - snow lotus. At the foot of the mountain are verdant firs and cypresses, green grass, flocks of cattle and sheep, dotted with herdsmen's yurts, and occasionally snow chickens, yellow sheep and snow leopards can be seen.

Longchi water is mainly supplied by snowmelt in the Tianshan Mountains and rainfall in the mountains. When Xuanzang, a well-known eminent monk in the Tang Dynasty of my country, went to India to learn Buddhist scriptures, he passed by Dalongchi. There is a vivid description of Dalongchi in his book "The Western Regions of the Tang Dynasty".

Dalongchi is composed of Dalongdong Reservoir and Dalongdong. The scenery is unique and picturesque, comparable to the scenery of the Lijiang River in Guilin. Dalong Lake is very large. It takes two hours to go back and forth by boat. There are many small islands in the lake.
