The sand dunes around the site are continuous and tall, and the site is relatively low-lying, with dead Populus euphratica forest trunks. Judging from the location of the site, it may be an oasis at the end of the Damagou water system or an oasis formed by the branches of the Keriya River. According to the analysis of cultural relics unearthed from the site, the site may belong to the site from the Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, which is similar to the age of the Yotgan site.
