Danzhou Scenic Area is a national 4A-level scenic spot, a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, a dual civilization demonstration village in the autonomous region, an ecological ancient city tourism village in Guangxi, and one of the "Ten Beautiful" villages in Liuzhou. Located at the southern end of Sanjiang County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi, it is adjacent to Rongshui in the west and Rong'an County in the south. National Highway 209 runs through 7 administrative villages in the town, and there are Zhiliu Railway Line and Rongjiang Airline in the west. 140 kilometers to the south to Liuzhou, 55 kilometers to the north to Sanjiang County. The charming Danzhou Scenic Area mainly refers to Danzhou Island in Danzhou Town. It is surrounded by water and is narrow and long. It is 1,850 meters long from north to south and 850 meters wide from east to west. It has a total area of 1.6 square kilometers. There are 61 surnames in the five ethnic groups of Zhuang and Han, with a total of 1035 people in 230 households. Danzhou was the county seat of Sanjiang County from 1591 (the Wanli Year of the Ming Dynasty) to 1914 (the third year of the Republic of China), and it was called Huaiyuan County at that time. It has a history of more than 400 years and is the only county in China built on a river island. There are still historical sites such as the East Gate, North Gate, Fujian-Guangdong Guild Hall, Danzhou Academy, ancient city walls, ancient county government offices, and ancient dwellings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the ancient city of Danzhou. It has a profound cultural heritage and is a cultural relic protection unit in the autonomous region.
