Dapiyuan is a part of Huimin Street, with the north end of the North Courtyard Gate, the south end of Maizhu Street, the west section connects with North Guangji Street, and is parallel to Xiyang City in the south. Dapiyuan was built in Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty and got its name because of its business of silk and fur. The food here in Huimin Street is authentic. It is said that this is the only restaurant that locals will eat. There are many food and snack shops on the street, such as mutton steamed buns, spicy soup, oxtail casserole, crispy pork with cold skin and spicy soup, fried noodles with fried cakes and cured beef. In Dapiyuan, there is a kind of bustle and authentic taste in the market. From the beginning to the end, the food all over the street is mouth-watering, and only here is the real deliciousness. There is an ancient mosque in Dapiyuan - Dapiyuan Mosque, which was built in the ninth year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1411). Due to disrepair for a long time, both the North and South Halls and the main hall collapsed. The current stone fence, Paihang, Manla Tower, and Huguo Worship Tower were rebuilt in 1985. The temple is surrounded by towering trees, draped flowers and grass, and a clean and quiet environment. It is a place for local Hui Muslims to engage in religious activities.
