Due to the fertile soil and mild climate, the current site of Daxi Huahai Farm was used for planting citronella in the 19th century for the production of citronella oil. After a while, the whole land was changed to grow green tea and export it. Now Daxi Huahai Farm uses this land to build gardens and restaurants. It is also very pleasant to come here for vacation.
