Daxiangshan Grottoes Scenic Spot is located in the southwest of Gangu County, Tianshui City, also known as Daxiangshan Grottoes, about 2 kilometers away from the county seat. The earliest construction of the mountain grottoes can be traced back to the Northern Wei Dynasty, and it is an important grotto historic site on the Silk Road. In addition, it is said that Gangu is the place where the Chinese ancestor Fuxi lived, so there will be landscapes related to Fuxi here. When you come to the scenic spot, you can watch caves and visit ancient times, worship Buddha in the temple and pray for blessings. You can also overlook the surrounding scenery from the top of the mountain. It is a good place to travel in Tianshui.

The Daxiangshan Grottoes are built along the mountain. There is a stone step mountain road about 1.5 kilometers along the mountain in the scenic area. You can walk along the way and play. Generally, tourists visit for about 2-3 hours.

The most famous landscape on Daxiang Mountain is the big Buddha statue on the mountainside, which is also the origin of the name of Daxiang Mountain. The Buddha statue is about 23 meters high, carved along the mountain, it is very spectacular, many tourists will come here to worship Buddha. Next to the Buddha, there is a corridor built on the mountain, connecting many grottoes and caves, where you can visit the monuments of Buddha statues.

There is a temple on the mountain, there are many temple buildings, tourists can visit here one by one. In addition, there are stone monuments of Fuxi's hometown, Fuxi Temple (Taihao Palace) and other buildings, where you can come here to pay homage to Fuxi, the ancestor of the Chinese nation. After climbing to the top of the mountain, the field of vision is also very wide, overlooking the surrounding scenery, which makes people feel at ease.
