Dayehai is located on the north side of Baxiantai at the top of Taibai Mountain, with an altitude of about 3,590 meters. It is a relatively well-preserved typical cirque lake in Taibai Mountain, formed in the ancient Quaternary glaciers. The eye-catching landscape on the top of Taibai Mountain, the main peak of the Qinling Mountains, is the "Dayehai", known as the "Fairy Lake". The lake is about 3,590 meters above sea level, and it is an extremely high-altitude alpine lake in mainland my country.
