Dayu Temple is located in the north of Zhouyuan Village, Sudong Township, Hancheng City, and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. The Dayu Temple was founded in the fifth year of Dade in the Yuan Dynasty, and was rebuilt during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty.

The Dayu Temple was built to commemorate Xia Yu. Xia Yu was the tribal chief in ancient times. Legend has it that in the time of Tang Yao, Yu and Shun, a severe flood occurred in the Yellow River Basin. Shun sent Yu to control the flood. come in." He used the method of dredging to calm the flood. Later, he seized Shun's tribal chief position by force and replaced him, and passed the position to his son Qi when he died, and the degree of "abdication" was completely broken.

The Dayu Temple faces south from the north. The central axis of the building consists of the Hall of Dedication and the Hall of Sleeping. There are three groups of brick-based wood shrines in the main hall, which are divided into 9 rooms by vertical flower columns. Each niche has a relief carving of two dragons playing with pearls. . On the east wall of the hall is the painted mural of Sun Wukong accepting the red boy, and on the west wall is the painted mural of Guo Ziyi riding alone to see Huihe and celebrating the feast.

In the temple, there is a wooden plaque of "Dayu Temple" in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty and a "Reconstruction of the Dayu Temple Stele" in the Ming Dynasty.
