Dayun Temple · Wangmu Palace is a national 4A-level scenic spot, located 1 km northwest of Jingchuan County, along National Highway 312, divided into two scenic spots: Wangmu Palace and Dayun Temple. The Queen Mother's Palace was first built in the second year of Yuanfeng in the Western Han Dynasty, and was rebuilt twice in the early Song Dynasty and the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. In 1992, the local government and the people jointly rebuilt, and successively completed the main buildings such as the West Queen Mother Hall, the East Prince Hall, and the Ji Hall. Under Huishan, there is a "Huiwu" at the confluence of the two rivers. According to legend, it is the place where the Queen Mother of the West lives and where the Queen Mother of the West and the Prince of the East meet. The Queen Mother's Palace was excavated against the mountain, the plane is in the shape of "Hui", and there are three-story eaves outside. The cave is 11 meters high, 12.6 meters wide, and 10 meters deep. There are more than 200 Buddha statues carved around the central pillar and three sides of the cave wall, and there are 22 large and small Buddhist niches. There is a Buddha statue on the front of the central column, about 4 meters high, with a clay sculpture and a stone body, with a plump body. It is a work of the Tang Dynasty. There are three floors of statues on each wall in the cave, with more than a hundred statues. It is one of the famous caves on the ancient "Silk Road" in my country. There are many steles in the Palace of the Queen Mother, among which the "Monument to the Palace of the Queen Mother" is the most famous, known as a "treasure". There is a Yaochi at the southern foot of Huishan Mountain. It is said that it is the palace of the Queen Mother of the West, and it is the place where the Queen Mother of the West holds a peach party and feasts for the immortals. Every year on the 20th of March in the lunar calendar is the grand meeting of the Queen Mother of the West. At that time, people from all over the world will come here for pilgrimage one after another. There are many Queen Mother Palaces in my country, but there are historical materials, inscriptions, historical sites and folk customs to testify that the Jingchuan Queen Mother Palace is the most authentic palace in the world, and Jingchuan County is therefore known as the "Chinese West Queen Mother Cultural City". In February 2001, the Queen Mother's Palace was approved by the National Tourism Administration as a national AA-level tourist attraction.
